Stilar from Docter Optics
This lens will be marketed under newly created brand name Stilar, which stands for Sensor Transmission Image Large Angle Resolution. Docter Optics has chosen this new trade name to document that fact that this lens offers camera manufacturers and users characteristics that were previously not available on the market. One of the major benefits of the Stilar is that it is a super-wide-angle lens developed specifically for camera systems that use the new 1.2" sensors with a 21.43 mm imaging dimensions. All lens elements in the Stilar feature high-quality anti-reflection coatings. The lens was designed to obtain both high relative illuminance and low light falloff. As a result, the Docter Optics Stilar is a vignette-free lens with high transmissivity in the visible range.

The Stilar has a focal length of 8.5mm with click-stopped apertures ranging from f/2.8 to f/11. The focus control permits use within a working range of 0.35m to 'infin;. The designers of this super-wide-angle-lens succeeded in achieving excellent color correction over the entire visible range and superior edge-to-edge resolution. The lens can reproduce line frequencies of up to 50 lp/mm with excellent contrast. The Stilar comes with a standard C-mount; adapters and step rings are optionally available. The lens features compact design with a length of 123 mm and a diameter of 85 mm.

The Stilar is a super-wide-angle lens that combines high speed, precise sensor illumination, a good signal-to-noise ratio and a C-mount, which makes it the choice of preference for machine-vision cameras, measurement cameras and industrial or biometric surveillance systems.
